My Approach to Helping
LaKisha L. Johnson, PPSC, LCSW is a therapist, consultant, and advocate who believes in building bridges and breaking barriers. She has been providing mental health services for over 16 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from UC Berkeley, before continuing to study mental health at the University of Southern California and earning her clinical license.
LaKisha specializes in providing effective interventions for Depression, Co-Parenting Conflict, and Trauma across the lifespan and is committed to helping people recover from emotional injury and discover their purpose. She is trained in several evidence-based practices including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reflective Supervision, and Christian Counseling.
