My Approach to Helping

I help you get to know yourself better. Working with deep compassion and understanding, clients often find healing through enhancing their strengths and exploring new ways of being. My work is effective with adults, couples, families, and adolescents. I'm particularly passionate about working with people who possess the courage to live lifestyles that are counter-culture to mainstream society and those ready to deepen their relationship with other-than-human nature.

My background and specialties include experience with trauma recovery, alternatives to mainstream education, multi-cultural, blended families, spirituality, and adoption related issues.

More Info About My Practice

My fee is $200 per session. I can provide clients an itemized receipt (superbill) from which insurance companies may reimburse therapy fees. Please, check with your individual insurance company.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy allows people to better understand themselves and others in order to help cope with life challenges. It is most effective when the relationship between therapist and client is safe and based in compassion.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to understand what you're looking for in therapy and life and to partner with you in your goals. The therapeutic relationship allows you to understand yourself deeper and differently thus creating change.
