My Approach to Helping
I love working with people who are focused on healing and understanding themselves better. Being the change I want to see is my personal mantra and, by walking my talk, it is my hope that I similarly motivate clients to be the change, too. Combining biofeedback and psychodynamic family systems approaches to healing, with DBT and CBT methods used as needed, my intuitively collaborative presence is one in which clients are able to reclaim a healthy new normal. Our intense emotional landscape is most often an absolutely appropriate and normal reaction to abnormal situations. Understanding emotional trauma is key to healing.
