My Approach to Helping

As a clinical psychologist, I work with clients towards meeting their personal goals and deepening their understanding of themselves. I specialize in treating adults with codependency issues, who feel stuck in patterns in which they sacrifice their needs to care for others and want to work on improving choices in relationships, increasing self worth, and decreasing feelings of anxiety and depression.

I also have expertise in treating clients who are facing a particularly difficult time in their lives, including coping with health issues, changes in family dynamics, social challenges, grief, and navigating life transitions.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating a psychodynamic, humanistic and family systems perspective with CBT. I believe there is value in looking at the past in order to make changes in the present. I am providing therapy online throughout California and Texas, and invite you to schedule a free consultation to discuss your interest in getting started.

More Info About My Practice

I work frequently with young adults and college students as they manage increasing independence, social challenges and academic stressors. Additionally, I worked as supervising psychologist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles for several years before transitioning full-time into private practice, and have experience working with medical professionals, as well as families coping with medical issues and trauma.
