My Approach to Helping
I have a heart for others, and believe that every person has the ability to change, grow, and overcome through what seemingly can feel like life’s biggest challenges. I believe therapy is a safe place to address trauma, negative thoughts, and overcome areas of life that have been challenging.
While I feel called to be a therapist, I do not want to box myself in as the title “therapist.” I am a listener, helper, encourager, servant, and confidant. My purpose in this field is to sit with each client and create a safe space for them. My theoretical approaches included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy
