My Approach to Helping
I believe the relationship is the foundation to healing. Most of our lives deal within the context of relationships, and therapy should be no different. I work very hard to create a safe, non-judgmental space, where you can be allowed to get curious and explore your emotions, behaviors, patterns, traumas, reactions and all other parts of your life that are creating significant impact right now.
I work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety and stress, often coming from traumas, and are wanting to find freedom from the heaviness that they’re carrying. Our minds, bodies, and emotions are all connected, and so I’m a firm believer in helping increase not only your awareness of these connections, but also the understanding of why you’re reacting the way you are, or struggling in the ways that keep coming back up.
I take my training in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed, body movements, and relationships, to help explore how your past is impacting your present, in order to find new life and healing for your future.
