My Approach to Helping

An Inspired Life’s mission is to provide compassionate and personalized mental health counseling services for individuals and families.

I provide individual counseling services for adults and family counseling in OHIO (in-person and online) and MICHIGAN (online only). You may find yourself feeling overwhelmed and heavily burdened. Resentments from the past, and worries about the future may lead to anxiety, depression, and other issues that negatively impact important aspects of life.

I am passionate about helping clients heal from destructive relationships, improve their valued relationships, and navigate major life transitions such as adjusting to college life, retirement, ending relationships, starting relationships, coping with loss, changing careers, parenting, and aging.

My view of human nature is simplistic. I believe we are designed for, are wounded in, and healed by our relationships. Above all else, the most important relationship is the relationship we have with ourselves. I’m action oriented and encourage my clients to experiment with new ways of being between sessions. On our journey together, clients acquire new coping and communication skills, learn to modify unhelpful thoughts, improve valued relationships, and come to understand and accept themselves in a deeper way.

Encountering a safe person in a safe place leads to healing and growth. I seek to provide such a space. I work with clients to build a collaborative, healing relationship, so you feel supported as you work towards your goals.

More Info About My Practice

Counseling is a Second Act for me. All my life, I've been drawn to helping others. Whether it was through volunteer endeavors or simply being a supportive friend, my innate desire to assist and uplift people has remained a constant in my journey through life.

After years in the fast-paced world of high-tech sales and a leap of faith, I left my corporate job to follow my true passion and earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University Maryland.

I believe in the incredible potential for growth and transformation that resides within each of us. We will work together to unlock your potential and pave the way for a truly celebrated life. I want to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions, gain insights, and develop skills for a happier and more fulfilling life.
