Meet Kate Sweatt, a compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with 6 years of mental health experience. Kate guides individuals through an array of challenges, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, stress management, and coping skills. Kate is also dedicated to providing LGBTQIA+-affirming therapy, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients of all backgrounds.
After graduating from Capella University, Kate uses a person-centered approach with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy (SFT) to foster positive change. CBT focuses on finding and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors, while SFT emphasizes finding solutions to current issues, helping clients achieve goals quickly.
