My Approach to Helping
After working in a variety of mental health settings including addictions, community mental health, criminal justice, and with military families I transitioned into private practice adopting and integrating a more holistic approach into my work with clients.
I use a mix of both western and eastern approaches to health and wellness to help my clients in achieving balance and living a life most aligned with their soul path.
I believe all people have the power and ability to change their own life. My work is to guide them towards this by helping them identify and better understand the blocks and fears that are holding them back. I use a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and a values-based approach to assist my clients in accessing their most authentic selves and living a life aligned with their own unique value systems.
Oftentimes we are not aware of our blocks
they are operating from an unconscious level that in turn creates our reality. Becoming aware of these unconscious belief systems and bringing them into the conscious is when you can challenge and create new belief systems that better align with how you want to live and the life you want to create.
