My Approach to Helping
While drawing from evidenced-based treatments (e.g., CBT, MBCT, & ACT), my approach to therapy is grounded in authenticity, collaboration, and the creation of a safe and welcoming space from which to assist each individual in reaching their individual goals. My work with clients often involves the combination of developing practical skills to assist in managing daily stressors while also working to uncover and resolve the root cause of one’s suffering. The process of healing evolves one step at a time, and I encourage you to reach out if you're interested in starting this journey.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
The purpose of psychotherapy is unique to each person and may even change throughout the course of treatment. For some, it is to break free from the anxiety, depression, andor emotional distress that lay hold on their life. For others, therapy is a place to better understand themselves while growing to reach their optimal potential at the office, in the home, or in the sports arena. I have also worked with many who simply need a place to be honest and open about the ongoing stresses of chronic illness, grief and loss, or relational conflict.
