My Approach to Helping
Have you been discouraged by your dire trying to stop something that stresses you out through the bombardment of non-stop racing thoughts, flashbacks or even the act of over thinking situations? Consistently finding yourself trying to get out of a pool of depressive thoughts, anxiety or anger that are chronically affecting you and your family to the point of feeling lost and hopeless. In spite of having the flood of helpful and educational information “out there”, here we are, still STUCK in pain and suffering. The scars of unbearable emotional pain portray itself through our emotional, physical and spiritual health.
When we try to “fix” what is outside of us, inevitably, we will continue to be stuck. When we try to look within ourselves; our emotion, thoughts or prejudgments based on our beliefs or assumption, we may challenge ourselves and ask question if what we believe, in fact is true.I hope you are willing to challenge yourself by examining your unquestioned mind.
I incorporate Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed treatment Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic approach and Christ-centered counseling in my practice.
