My Approach to Helping
My therapy style as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a combination of goal oriented, solution focused, cognitive behavioral, and person centered therapies. My overall main focus with clients combines experiential and post modernist based family therapies as well as emotionally focused couples therapy to tailor treatment to each client's needs.
I provide psychotherapy with mindfulness guidance to help clients treat, manage, and work though: anxiety, depression, OCD, ADDADHD, panic disorder, griefloss, marriage issues, family issues, reconciliations, divorce, self esteem issues, life adjustments, attachment issues, parenting issues, co-parenting, and postpartum depressionanxiety.
My sessions are loosely structured with a focus on the client as the expert of their experience. We develop insight into their personal goals and work to navigate what tools and steps may work for them through trial and error at their own pace. I always maintain unconditional positive regard for my clients and work to support them and coordinate their care in anyway that I professionally can. Respect and care are always thoughtfully maintained as a standard with my therapy practice.
