My Approach to Helping
You may be here because you are feeling frustrated and overwhelmed by life. Perhaps your relationships are leaving you feeling disappointed and unsatisfied. Maybe you are not sure how you feel but just know you are stuck and need something to change. Personal therapy provides time and space that is entirely yours. I will work alongside you to help facilitate greater understanding about what you are feeling and the ways you would like life to be different. I offer the type of listening and feedback that can create connection, understanding and personal transformation. I am passionate about working with couples, families, individual adults and teens who have become stuck in unsatisfying relationships, destructive patterns, or their own individual pain. This "stuck-ness" can leave us feeling alone, misunderstood, anxious, and depressed. I offer an environment that is caring, challenging, and encouraging as we work together to develop new insights and create the personal and relational growth you are seeking.
More Info About My Practice
Standard fee: $175. I have limited sliding scale appointments available. I supervise associates who provide quality therapy services for a reduced fee. I do not accept insurance but will provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company if your PPO offers reimbursement.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love a good, authentic conversation. I believe good conversations that create new insights, connection and a new emotional experience can produce long-lasting change. The significant relationships in our lives can be a source of pain, but they can also be source of healing. A good therapeutic relationship can be the pathway to transformation, and I find it a privilege to be a part of another's journey in personal healing and renewal.

Let's talk on the phone or come in for one free consultation. There are many different types of talk therapy and many different therapist styles, qualifications and personalities out there. Therapy is only as effective as the comfort level and connection you feel with your therapist. I recommend meeting a few therapists before deciding if therapy is for you and which therapist you trust to accompany you in the process of self-discovery.
