My Approach to Helping
"I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Maine. I completed my undergraduate studies at Hunter College with a degree in Sociology. After that, I obtained my graduate degree at Fordham University in 2012.
With over ten years in the mental health field, I have worked with adults, children, and families and have assisted them through some of the most challenging periods in their lives. I have worked in various settings throughout my years, including inpatient, outpatient, and home-based services, which has allowed me to experience a full scope in assessing the individualfamily’s needs. I also treat individuals in the LGBTQ community. Patience, understanding, and communication are just characteristics I uphold to provide the best possible treatment to my clients.
I firmly believe that mental wellness and growth can be achieved through perseverance. As long as the individual is willing to participate in making a difference, I will be there to assist you along that journey. I need to utilize a patient-centered approach to treat the individual with dignity and respect and build rapport to ensure safety in the client-therapist relationship. I also make an effort to engage in continuous educational training, which allows me to provide my clients with the best treatment modalities to best suit their needs."
