My Approach to Helping

I’m a queer, neurodivergent therapist who is committed to honesty, empathy, liberation, growth and being your biggest cheerleader.

I want to hear YOUR story, celebrate YOUR strengths, and work with you toward YOUR growth. Therapy, like life, is a journey. It can be a powerful space for reflection, venting, validation, meditation, skills practice, and personal growth, but, just like life, it’s not always easy. My goal is to be your ally. I want to make therapy as easy, as smooth, as supportive, and as helpful a process for you as I possibly can. No matter where you’re at in your journey, I’m here for you, and we’ll work together to keep moving forward.

We might explore new ways of coping with stress, celebrate your accomplishments, role play difficult conversations, practice breathing and body-based exercises, process painful experiences, explore helpful resources, make a written game plan for your next week, discuss the ins-and-outs of your sexualromantic relationships, or laugh over a funny story you share with me.

More Info About My Practice

I value equity, forgiveness, honesty, respect, social justice, hope, and empathy. I am a gay Jew who was relentlessly bullied for my ethnicityreligion, sexual orientation, personality, interests and my physical appearance. I will never forget the profound pain of being made to feel different, unnatural, less than, evil.

Traumatic as those years were, and as cliché as it may sound, those experiences made me who I am. I credit them with first sparking my unwavering commitment to be there for and support those in pain, as well as my celebration of the diversity, uniqueness, individuality, and beautiful humanity of each individual person.
