My Approach to Helping

I am licensed in Texas with 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and abuse, & coping with grief and loss. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I strive to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental atmosphere in which clients can safely explore and work through their feelings and beliefs that may be keeping them stuck. I have a passion for those who are deeply hurting, or with no idea where to turn. I am not afraid to "sit" with my clients during difficult and dark times. I can sit with you in the dark and help guide you to the light.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I have life experience that translates in the way I relate to my clients. I am a first-generation Mexican American who grew up in a poverty-stricken border town in Southern California. I have experienced marriage and divorce, as well as the difficulties of depression, late diagnosis ADHD, and generational trauma. Therefore, I bring both personal and educational wisdom to the counseling experience.
