My Approach to Helping
Hi! I'm Isabel Pitre, a dedicated and compassionate therapist committed to a holistic approach to mental health. I work with individuals and families who are experiencing medical trauma, cultural identity concerns, anxiety, career struggles, grief, and other issues that can be very challenging, stressful and overwhelming. With a Master's in Counseling, a Bachelor's in Psychology, and a Minor in Kinesiology, I bring 7 years of expertise as a PLPC & NCC. My approach integrates counseling for mental and physical well-being, emphasizing Trauma-Informed Behavioral therapy. Life is full of challenges, and I'm here to support your journey.
My passion is trauma, spanning medical, cultural identity, and generational trauma. I'm dedicated to providing a safe space for those facing life-changing medical diagnoses. I understand the grief, fear, anger, and uncertainty of medical struggles, as well as the challenges of fitting into American culture and seeking acceptance within your own culture.
As a two - time cancer survivor, I bring a profound understanding of medical challenges, offering a safe space for those on a similar journey. Being a first-generation Hispanic, I utilize empathy, personal insights, academic knowledge, and understanding to guide clients through the healing journey. Let's chat! I look froward to working with you.
