My Approach to Helping
My goal is to provide a safe space for individuals to process and overcome obstacles to become their optimal self. I have 12 years of experience working in the social service field, 5 of those as a therapist. I received a masters degree in Marital and family therapy from the Loma Linda University, where I focused on Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Gestalt, Solution focus and Narrative theories. However I take an individual approach to cater to each individual needs. I have training in EMDR, Guttmann, Seeking safety and motivational speaking. I specialize in cultural issues, transitional problems, depression, anxiety and rehabilitation. I received undergraduate degree in criminology and worked with youth for 10 years. I believe in giving people a safe space for people to speak and heal.
