My Approach to Helping
I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Columbia University and Yeshiva University graduate, who treats adults from 18 to 98. I have 20+ years experience working in outpatient, inpatient, rehab, nursing, and forensic settings as with individuals who experienced work place trauma. I primarily work in the present, using cognitive behavioral approaches to help people overcome challenges, improve their mood, relationships, and manage stressanxiety. I am sensitive to culturegender issues. For the past two years, I have been doing teletherapy over the computer, helping individuals manage a wide variety of challenges, including isolation, job loss, and anxiety due to the COVID pandemic. I also work part time in a New York State Psychiatric Institute outpatient clinic in Manhattan.
