My Approach to Helping
Do you find yourself falling into the same negative self defeating patterns? Have you wondered, "why do I keep doing this"? It can feel frustrating, overwhelming and at times embarrassing when we engage in the same hurtful behaviors. It is my hope to support you in your journey, to break away from the negative cycles that steal your sense of joy. Whether you are a husband, wife, mother, father, parent, spouse, partner or child it can be difficult navigating the stressors of life and still be available for one another. Often disconnection, hurt and isolation perpetuate the feeling of loneliness. It is my goal as a therapist to help you rebuild connection, warmth, and safety with yourself and other's in your life.
Working with teens, couples, and families over the past 8 years has given me the opportunity to help families stay connected, increase communication, and improve coping skills to manage life stressors with less distress.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I really do love my job. For better or worse I have had my own experiences in life that have created devastation, hurt, disbelief, and pain for me. It is through my own journey of healing and growth that I continue to pursue my field both professionally and personally. I appreciate and honor the trust and courage that it takes to come into therapy. It is my intention, to offer the highest level of professional services to you. Despite the difficult experiences that bring you into therapy, it is my hope, that you experience healing and change.
My Role as a Therapist
Is to provide a place of openness, security, safety and trust in a nonjudgemental, kind and supportive environment. It is my hope to understand who you are and how your problem area impacts you. Secondly, I want to come along side you and support you in finding resolve and healing from the hurt, pain, worry, fear, or anger that is plaguing you.
