I don't currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage
The name of my practice, The Wholeness Institute, is meant to convey the hope I have for you as my client. That you will gain wholeness in body, mind, and spirit through working with me in a trustworthy relationship. While I will focus a great deal on your emotional well-being, I will also take your physical, mental, and spiritual states into consideration. I may not be able to help you in all of these areas, but I acknowledge that all of us are integrated beings. And I believe that in order to become whole, and so be able to thrive, that we must be healed in all of these areas.
I work from a humanistic, psychodynamic, developmental, and holistic perspective. This means that I regard every individual as being in a state of development, from conception until the last breath. I evaluate clients in terms of where they are in life, chronologically and emotionally, and work from a framework of developmental stages. I also believe that internal change is possible. As we look at ourselves from the inside out we are able to see our hurts and make new choices today that help us move forward, and to thrive, not just survive. As we reflect on the past, we do so with the intent of making today and tomorrow healthier, more active, and full.
My Practice & Services
I offer teletherapy for Arizona residents or those living in Arizona on a long-term temporary basis.
Please note: Phone calls may be returned by myself or by my assistant, usually within 48 business hours.
My Role as a Therapist
My role as a therapist is to walk along side you as we make a plan to help you overcome the feeling you may have of being stuck. This sense of being stuck can come from many issues, and together we determine what it is that is at the root of that, and then help you process the emotions and feelings related to it, and determine a plan, step by step, to help you change this in your life. My job is to support you as you make those changes and experience a new life that is no longer stuck, but moving forward and feeling stronger, more centered, and able to move more freely and securely.
