My Approach to Helping
Hello and thank you for considering me as a potential fit for your upcoming therapy journey. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to express themselves and work towards reaching their goals. Through our work together I am able to offer an honest outsider perspective along with research-backed interventions to help clients see their behavior and situation in a new light. We will work together to format therapy in a way that is comfortable to you, while also holding you accountable for your progress, which can sometimes feel uncomfortable.
My work aims to help clients develop healthy and productive coping and communication skills while also building self-esteem, self-worth, and interpersonal connections. I understand that seeking therapy can be anxiety-provoking but strongly believe it’s also the first step towards bettering your life, however that looks for you.
Although I am comfortable working with a variety of presenting concerns, I specialize in relationship difficulties, communication struggles, infidelity, anxiety, and depression. I am also kink-informed and polyamory welcoming. I offer therapy through a range of evidence-based therapy modalities but tend to utilize Gottman method, emotionally focused, and cognitive behavioral frameworks most often.
