My Approach to Helping
Geoffrey Dill (he/him) is a Resident in Counseling (RIC) with years of experience working in the mental health field. He is passionate about providing therapeutic care to clients dealing with shame, specializing particularly in eating issues, LGBTQIA+ needs, trauma, depression, and low self-esteem. Geoffrey completed his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and became licensed as a Resident in Counseling in 2023. Additionally, after meeting supervision and educational requirements, he received his credential as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). In sessions, Geoffrey uses an eclectic approach, pulling especially from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), compassion-focused therapy (CPT), and narrative therapy. Geoffrey is confident that he will be able to support you on your mental wellness journey by providing a calm, restorative space where you'll be seen and understood and teaching coping skills to confront your everyday challenges.
