My Approach to Helping

"In the social jungle of human existence, there is not a feeling of being alive without a sense of identity." (Erik Erikson) I believe everyone deserves the "feeling of being alive." At times this can feel out of reach and difficult to imagine. When that is the case, we all need spaces in our lives where we can be listened to, seen, and joined with. These spaces are always places of true, genuine connection. If you are feeling a longing for a more full life, I encourage you to follow that question forward.

Though I work with a variety of clients, I specialize in working clinically with LGBTQ+ individualscouples, trauma, and anxiety. I offer a compassionate approach to therapy that is depth-oriented and neurobody-informed. My style of therapy seeks to engage your thoughts, emotions, and the physical feelings of your body to restore the feeling of life.

Whether you are an individual seeking to better understand who you are becoming, or a loved one along on the journey, I would love to connect with you. The fact that you are here, looking for next steps, tells me you are well on your way to your own place of "feeling alive". If you are ready to take next steps please reach out to me.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I was too. In fact, it took years for me to get to the point where I was actually able to start reaching out and trying to connect with someone. Once I got in the room however I realized how helpful and supportive it felt to have the full attention of someone who was compassionate and trained to help me sort out my thoughts and feelings. I keep these memories close to me when I connect with you for the first time. This process is so vulnerable, but it also provides one of the best ways to heal and grow.
