My Approach to Helping

You feel such an intense pressure to meet high expectations that it affects your belief in self and others. You notice your perfectionism getting in the way of your personal relationships, with high expectations transferring over to the people in your life, even though you value healthy relationships and deep connections.

You're secretly struggling with constant self-criticism, unrealistic standards, comparison, and anxiety – and you're ready to stop this cycle. You're hopeful to find joy and satisfaction in your accomplishments and establish meaningful connections with others, free from feeling the need to prove yourself.

I specialize in counseling adult perfectionists through relationship, career, and personal challenges. My approach is warm, curious, honest, and understanding. Therapy supported my personal history with perfectionism and has allowed me to deeply understand the nuances that come with perfectionism and healing.

I’m here to support your curiosity around perfectionism and meet you where you’re at on your healing journey. Living in your authenticity with fulfilling relationships and a more balanced lifestyle is possible and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

More Info About My Practice

I offer online sessions Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm MST. I either take sessions in my living area, where you may see my cat or in my downtown office. In addition to providing individual therapy, I offer coaching for perfectionists. I have worked with perfectionists for over four years.

My Therapy Focus

I've dedicated my profession to understanding perfectionistic minds. Perfectionists might be resistant to therapy due to their nature of wanting to figure things out on their own. I commend the strong-willed nature of perfectionists and at the same time it is my hope for perfectionists to know that asking for help does not mean you failed. It means you desire to learn a better way. You want to learn the skills to manage anxiety so that you can show up more fully in your life, without the overthinking and worry. I have helped numerous perfectionists learn to manage their anxiety, connect on a deeper level in their relationships, and learn self-validation.
