How Psychotherapy Can Help
My personal struggles have taught me that it takes courage and strength to ask for support, and that it's a better alternative to running away from fear and discomfort. Life isn't easy. We are forced to contend with grief, trauma, financial issues and mental health struggles. These life-challenges are emotionally taxing and can often negatively impact our relationships. It makes sense that we feel overwhelmed, anxious and stressed. These feelings and emotions are not only understandable, they are appropriate and normal. Asking for help doesn?t mean you aren?t capable. Asking for help means that you?re smart enough to realize that you don?t know it all...none of us do.
