My Approach to Helping

You know yourself better than I ever will. I enjoy working with individuals who are contemplating a change in their lives, whether it be a new job, new relationship, or something more challenging, like making a decision to stop problematic behaviors and symptoms that cause hurt and pain. I'll help you discover the unconscious thoughts and feelings that may be driving your behavior.

More Info About My Practice

I work with men recovering from sexual addiction andor codependency. Sometimes our unconscious drives our decision-making, often driving us to engage in problematic behaviors. We may also experience unsteady emotions like depression and anxiety due to uncertainty. In my practice, I offer a space where we can explore all the possibilities. I can help you learn anxiety and depression reduction strategies, develop more effective coping tools, and process and explore the next steps on your healing journey. Remember, you are not alone, even if it sometimes feels like it. I can provide the space for your continued growth and healing.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Any person struggling with addiction will begin to notice there is a problem when negative consequences come knocking. Examples include relationship challenges, mood disturbance, poor sleep, poor concentration, inability to quit behaviors despite consequences, financial trouble feelings of shame and disgust. I can help you decipher your history, identify triggers for acting out, and offer guidance and solutions to reduce problematic behaviors.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

The decision to go to therapy is a brave one. Taking time to learn more about yourself is an important aspect of continued healing and growth.
