Your own thoughts seem to get in the way. Strategies to avoid or control the unwanted intrusions either don’t work or don’t last. After trying everything you can think of to escape your own mind you end up right back where you started - or worse. Nothing is getting resolved. It’s the same thing over and over. It can feel like running into an invisible wall. Adulting is hard enough without your own mind sending you signals that can range from irritating to defeating. What does it even want from you? Why do the things you try not work?
Your mind throws a barrage of signals at you in the form of thoughts and feelings, but that doesn’t mean you guys speak the same language. I act as a translator. I will teach you how to interpret your thoughts so that you become effective at identifying and responding in ways that work for you.
