My Approach to Helping
Whether you are feeling stuck, down, need to shake things up a bit, or just need someone to talk to, this may be a good time to begin therapy, and finding the right therapist who is a good fit for you is critical. I use a combination of verbal and art- and photography-based approaches as we work together to address personal conflicts or problems, understand unproductive patterns and work to change them, or seek to enhance self-awareness and foster personal growth. As a therapist, I consider myself a partner in your journey of self-discovery and self-exploration, and you will find a warm and nonjudgmental environment in my office. No background in art or photography is required.
In addition, I'm now practicing animal-assisted psychotherapy, so if you choose, you will have the opportunity to work with animals (goats, alpacas, dogs, rabbits) in a therapeutic context.
