Dr. Corrie Minges is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Since 2006, Corrie has worked as a counselor in Louisiana, Kansas, and Virginia. She has over 10 years of experience and is skilled in working with diverse age groups and socio-economic populations, including service members, military families, and dual-diagnosis clients. Corrie completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Family and Consumer Sciences and Child, Family, and Social Services; as well as her Master of Arts (MA) in Psychological Counseling at Nicholls State University. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counselor Education at the University of New Orleans. Corrie practices counseling from a humanist perspective. She firmly believes that every client is the expert on their lives. Corrie provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for the client to explore and find the direction that is best for his or her life. She views counseling as a partnership and works to tailor her counseling sessions to best meet the needs of her clients.
