Therapy goes beyond understanding the reasons for seeking counselling; it involves acquiring new skills through education. By enhancing awareness, individuals can engage in higher-level reasoning and respond effectively to challenges.
Autonomy and self-efficacy are fundamental aspects of this process. They involve reducing dependence on others and fostering reliance on oneself. My ultimate objective is for clients to possess the tools to navigate their paths, not only being able to guide themselves but also to pick themselves up and continue their journey towards personal growth and well-being.
