My Approach to Therapy

Im a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate lifes challenges and find paths toward healing and growth. My approach is rooted in understanding, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others make meaningful changes in their lives. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I received comprehensive training in mental health and clinical social work. Since becoming a licensed clinical social worker, Ive continued to refine my skills and stay current with new therapeutic approaches and techniques. Throughout my career, Ive worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community mental health centers, private practice, and nonprofit organizations. This diverse experience has allowed me to work with people from many different walks of life, each with their own unique challenges, hopes, and dreams.

My Practice & Services

Through supporting clients and other clinicians, I believe that growth and healing is a collaborative journey, and I work closely with my clients to understand their unique experiences. I see therapy and supervision not as a one-size-fits-all approach, but as a personalized process that recognizes the inherent strengths each person possesses. Together, well explore whats working in your life and what needs to change, with the goal of empowering you to lead a more balanced and fulfilled life. If youre ready to begin or continue your path toward healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
