My Approach to Helping
Conor is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 3 years experience working in the mental health field including experience with young adults as well as children and adolescents. He specializes in working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, interpersonal challenges, existential/spiritual concerns, and major life transitions. Conor attended the College of William & Mary in Virginia to complete his Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Conor attended Temple University to complete his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology where he completed his internship in counseling psychology at Temple's School of Pharmacy. He utilizes multiple evidence-based interventions including, but not limited to, trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), attachment-based family therapy (ABFT), and ecosystemic structural family therapy (ESFT). People come to therapy for many, many reasons. Conor finds that the people who learn to thrive most are those who seek to 1.) understand themselves in a new way, 2.) want to seek to change how they have responded to the world, and 3.) want to implement those changes in a sustainable way. If that sounds like you, Conor looks forward to scheduling an appointment with you soon.
