My Approach to Helping
My priority is to create a safe, supportive and collaborative space where the issues that are troubling you can be explored and worked on together. My approach is eclectic, attuned and client-centered, tailored to meet the needs of each individual or couple I work with.
Life at times can seem difficult, uncertain, even overwhelming. It can feel difficult to cope. You may have experienced a painful loss, or feel empty or stuck. You may long for a relationship, or wish that the one you have were not troubled, contentious or unfulfilled. You may be in the midst of a major transition, wishing to achieve something new but unable to take the first steps. You may be experiencing painful symptoms of anxiety or depression, making you feel isolated and alone. Together we can uncover and transform repetitive, unproductive behavior patterns to help you find a path to change that promotes growth, alleviates painful symptoms, and expands your sense of choice and freedom.
I believe that each individual is unique, valuable, and deserving of personalized attention and care. My therapeutic style is warm, interactive and accepting. I consider it a privilege to engage with clients of diverse cultures, races, ethnicity, genders and sexual orientations.
