My Approach to Helping
Latina Registered Play Therapist™ specializing in working with children (3-8), parents and adults concerned about aging parents.
Welcome to my profile. As a play therapist and social worker, I specialize in helping the following clients: 3- 8 year old's whose worries or anger outbursts are causing issues for the family or in school; Parents who want to learn and improve their parenting skills so they can reduce tantrums; Adults 21+ who are struggling in their relationships and want to set better limits with others; and adults who are concerned about an aging parent with cognitive issues like dementia.
With 10+ years of experience, I offer my clients a space where they can feel safe to open up about their inner thoughts and can build courage to face their fears. For my clients who are over 21 +, we will meet virtually to talk about your current stressors and goals and figure out whether your past is showing up and impacting your ability to grow.
When I work with parents, we talk about your child's behaviors, your needs and whether any of your childhood baggage is showing up so we can make you more confident and patient with yourself and child. As for children, our work is done in my office playroom in Middlesex, NJ. To learn more about how I can help you, call me, email me or visit my website.

My Role as a Therapist
is to not judge you and make you feel like you are the problem. My role is to help you understand who you are, who want to be and how your current behavior or relationships are not serving you the way you need them to. I love helping my clients realize that feeling loved is possible and learning how to let go of prioritizing what others think is often the first step to healing and happiness.
What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
The therapy process is not an easy one but having a good connection with your therapist is one of the main factors of having a successful and healing experience. I also believe that therapy is not forever. In other words, my desire is to educate clients on different tools to use so you can ultimately rely on yourself for your own healing vs consistently depend on someone else.
