My Approach to Helping
Chloe Paulsen is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor-Associate (LCMHC-A) with specialties in anxiety, trauma, PTSD, low self-esteem, attachment issues, stress, major life transitions, and depression. She is passionate about working with teens and adults of all genders to help clients discover their identities and lay the foundation to build their full, authentic selves. Chloe completed her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. She lived in many different states from a young age, moving every few years to gain her education, giving her ample experience with different socioeconomic levels, cultural barriers, life transitions, stress, and anxiety. Chloe utilizes multiple treatment approaches including mindfulness, person-centered (PCT) approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT) approaches, and narrative (NT) approaches, all through a trauma-informed (TIF) lens.
