My Approach to Helping
The adults I work with are emotionally healthy. But anxiety, perfectionism and a lapse in self-esteem are examples of what can undermine all of us. It's not about changing who we are - instead, it's about going to the "emotional gym" to become more focused, intentional and stronger about ourselves.

* The fee is $80 per session; yet I am always flexible with this fee. Payment may be made by Zelle, check,
credit card, PayPal.
* Sessions are a full hour.
* And to protect everyone's health, sessions are currently being offered via Skype, Telehealth, WhatsApp
or phone.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
The purpose should be to strengthen the confidence that we can manage our feelings and desires so we're able to respond rather than react to relationships and situations. In this way, we're able to move closer to possessing the confidence that we're in control of our lives. The stronger we become - the better we're able to find and grow the relationships that are best for us.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
The therapist should work with a clear theoretical understanding and should be willing to work with a mutually agreed "roadmap" regarding the direction and goals of the process. I work hard to respect the time and effort each person brings to this process of building strength, confidence and health.
