My Approach to Helping
Casey McCarragher is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in individual counseling. Casey has been working with adults and adolescents over the past 7 years specifically working with individuals (Veterans) with PTSD, depression and substance abuse. He has also been working with adults and adolescents with schizophrenia, depression, personality disorders and substance abuse.
His approach is client centered focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative therapy. His approach focuses on the thoughts and behaviors that lead us to where we are currently in life. Self-Care and coping skills are important tools that he believes every person should have at their disposal. By helping clients understand how their behavior and thoughts shape their actions, changes and progress can be realized.
Casey McCarragher graduated with his Master’s in Social Work from Chicago Loyola University in 2013.
