My Approach to Helping

Starting a mental health journey can be a big step, and I am here to walk that path alongside you. My belief is that healing and change occurs when individuals are able to tell the narratives of their lives within a genuine and empathetic relationship. My goal as the therapist is to help each individual recognize and utilize his or her own experiences and strengths to create an enriched life. I use an eclectic approach to treatment by integrating cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and narrative techniques. I have experience providing services for children and adults with a wide range of clinical concerns including trauma, significant lifespan transitions, depression, and anxiety.

Due to health concerns related to COVID-19, I am currently offering telehealth services. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant web based platform that individuals can access from the comfort of their own home. During an initial 15-minute phone consultation, we can discuss your preferred modality for treatment, whether that be in the office or over video.
