My Approach to Helping
Many of us feel challenged and overextended by the stress of work, relationships, finances and family. I have advanced training and experience working with marriage and relationships, divorce recovery, anxiety disorders including panic attacks, addictive behaviors, parenting, anger management, and grief/loss situations. A variety or therapeutic styles are used including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and relaxation training to create effective problem-solving strategies for couples, families and work relationships.
I provide an environment of safety and support allowing clients to take action and make decisions necessary to move forward in their lives. People are remarkably resilient in the face of life's hardships and the commitment to therapy is the first step to meaningful change.
