My Approach to Helping
I approach my work through the lens of Restoration Therapy, a model that integrates principles from attachment theory, emotional regulation, and mindfulness to promote healing and personal empowerment. I believe that at the heart of most emotional struggles are painful messages we’ve internalized in response to relational wounds. I place a strong emphasis on self-awareness, emotional responsibility, and practicing new behaviors both in and outside the therapy room. I see the therapeutic relationship not as a place to simply manage symptoms, but as a sacred space for transformation and restoration.
Specializing in anxiety and depression, I know it can be overwhelming, but by breaking down painful messages we've received, understanding our inherent worth and value, and then using that clarity to make meaningful changes, client's can gain a sense of hope.
