My Approach to Helping

I do not work for my clients. I work with my clients. They are not here to be lectured to by me. It is our job to put our perspectives together and approach one's understanding of their life in a challenging manner that still validates their emotional experience. I like to challenge my clients, but still have them feel comfortable and respected.

More Info About My Practice

Thriving Center of Psychology is a group practice with psychologists and mental health experts in Miami, New York City, and Los Angeles. Here at Thriving Center, our goal is to unlock your true potential and guide you to lead the life you've always wanted. Our team understands how valuable it is to find and refocus on what is truly important in your life. All of our therapists are experts in the field, We specialize in evidence-based treatments, those whose effectiveness has been proven by the most current scientific research. Our treatment approach is based on the concept that your mental health is equally as important as your physical health, and that attending to your mental health is essential for living a truly fulfilled life.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

The purpose of psychotherapy in my eyes is to help people align their values and their behaviors. We do this by exploring the emotional blocks like anger, guilt, anxiety, or depression. We then do our best to remove them andor learn how to change our relationship with them and move forward unhindered.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I admire people who have skepticism about therapy, it can be a very powerful agent of change in one's life. We do our research on everything from mattresses to political figures, why should therapy not be held to that same standard? However, you can find data and research to back up any point of view. If you are a true skeptic, the only way to truly know if something is for you or not is to challenge yourself to investigate firsthand!
