My Approach to Helping
Asa Slowe is a Master's level clinician in the Philadelphia area, in addition she obtained her Master’s Degree at Rosemont College. Asa has been providing therapeutic care to children, adolescents, and adults for the past six years. She has experience in the areas of Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Trauma, Grief Counseling, Self-Esteem, Relationship Issues, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Stress Management, Substance use, Life transitions, Dual Diagnoses, Sexual Issues, and Anger Management. Asa enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. Asa has proven to show understanding and empathy with all her clients. She is passionate about helping individuals grow and be successful in their life. Asa provides a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and safe environment for all clients. She utilizes different therapeutic approaches. The most used are client-centered, strength-based, dialectical behavioral, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. Asa assists clients with various mental health concerns and believes that clients can reach their highest potential in their lives. Clients will gain awareness, healing, growth, and actualization.
