My Approach to Helping
Sometimes we find ourselves feeling stuck and need help navigating emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and conflicted relationships. You might be experiencing disconnection from yourself or others, anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, or processing loss, grief, and transitions. I’m here to support you on your journey towards wholeness and a greater sense of aliveness. My style is warm and direct, drawing upon your resilience and strength and working collaboratively with you to discover healing, growth, and expansion.
I offer a unique combination of depth-oriented and skills-based training in my practice. In your first few sessions, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. Combining these approaches means that our work together will be both pragmatic and exploratory, getting to the underlying cause of the issue at hand for long-term healing and growth.
In our sessions together, we will explore the thoughts and emotions that feel the most pressing to you. We will help make sense of your world and process the reoccurring feelings, mindsets, or behaviors that you don't know what to do with. Rather than just learning to cope, we will do the deep work that leads towards the life you long to live.
