My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is human-centered and tailored to meet individuals where they are by using the best approaches available to help them solve their problems or concerns. If you're experiencing issues that are making it difficult to cope and causing worry, sadness, isolation, or limiting your thoughts and emotions to past failures or problems, I can assist you in creating a plan for moving beyond them.
Often times, we believe that we can handle these things on our own, however, it can be difficult to sort out all of the negative messages and emotions. And in many cases, unwanted behaviors may seem to follow and may show up in relationships with ourselves and others. As a result, the distress builds and makes healthy coping difficult to attain.
I help individuals, couples, and families better understand the negative patterns and help them to adopt positive ones by providing a safe space to do so.
