My Approach to Therapy

Narcissistic abuse is both agonizing and profoundly confusing. It will often leave you questioning your reality and feeling empty. I founded Two Lights Therapy Center in Chicago, Illinois, to fill the critical gap in care for individuals affected by narcissism and narcissistic abuse. Recognizing the lack of specialized support focused on narcissistic abuse recovery, I created a space where clients can receive the compassionate expert care that they deserve. Whether you decide to distance yourself from this person or maintain the relationship in some capacity, we can work together to heal from the effects of narcissistic relationships, rebuild, and reclaim your sense of identity. I work to help clients restore their relationship with themselves and move forward with clarity and confidence. As a therapist specializing in narcissistic abuse recovery, I have acquired advanced training to help clients navigate antagonistic relationships and the healing that becomes necessary as a result of them. I have completed the Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC) training with Dr. Ramani Durvasula, the leading expert on narcissistic personality styles and narcissistic abuse recovery treatment. My practice also supports individuals struggling with narcissistic personality traits or a narcissistic personality style, offering guidance to help them better understand their behavior patterns, improve their relationships, and lead more fulfilling lives. At Two Lights Therapy Center, I am dedicated to providing expert care for those navigating the complex challenges unique to narcissistic abuse and narcissistic personality traits, offering a safe and supportive environment to foster authenticity, healing, growth, and self-compassion. You are not alone.

Groups I Work With

At Two Lights Therapy Center in Chicago, Illinois, I specialize in working with two distinct yet deeply interconnected populations: survivors of narcissistic abuse and individuals with narcissistic personality traits. For narcissistic abuse survivors, I provide expert support to help them heal from the emotional and psychological effects of toxic or antagonistic relationships. Whether you’ve experienced gaslighting, manipulation, trauma bonding, or chronic invalidation, our work together focuses on healing, self-acceptance (and self-forgiveness), breaking trauma bonds, addressing your nervous system, and exploring your identity. My approach is person-centered and relational, and I will, at time, integrate EMDR for narcissistic abuse. For individuals with narcissistic personality traits, I offer a nonjudgmental space to explore underlying patterns, develop greater self-awareness, and improve emotional regulation. My approach helps clients navigate the challenges of narcissistic traits to foster healthier relationships and connections (to the self and others). My work is grounded in compassion, expertise, and a deep understanding of the complexities of narcissistic dynamics.
