My Approach to Helping

The ideal client is one who realizes that they are at an intersection in life, and can use a clear sense of direction. They are able to admit that they could benefit from having a licensed professional listen and help them better tell their story. This person understands that they are able to make needed change to become the best version of themselves.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults on a wide variety of issues including: depressionanxiety, ADHD, life transitions, burn-out, autism, adjustment disorders, self-worth, eating disorders, self-harm, relationship issues, porn addictions, and general marriage and family counseling. I combine cognitive behavioral therapy with family systems theory.
Andrew truly believes there is no other relationship in life like that of a counseling relationship. He combines cognitive behavioral therapy with family systems theory and his vast experiences in order to walk with you through all of life’s uncertainties. If you are considering counseling, call or email Andrew to set up your appointment.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a counselor is to work myself out of a job! I want to equip you with the skills and know-how to not need me long-term.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help

I just need to know why you're here. You don't have to have a long list of goals or things you hope to change or accomplish. We will arrive there together. I love to help a client discover their WHY! This can be related to purpose, or simply why they want to make positive changes in their life. There is power in the "WHY".

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

If being "on the fence about going to therapy" describes you, I highly encourage you to give it a try. Make yourself a priority today by putting yourself first. Obviously a huge part of your success will be finding the right counselor, but counseling is what you make of it. Prove to yourself that you're worth it by investing in your mental health and your overall happiness TODAY!
