My Approach to Helping
I have worked with various individuals with issues ranging from OCD to PTSD to postpartum depression and anxiety. I have found I enjoy working with individuals going through significant life changes and helping them discover themselves and their ‘new normal.’ I especially enjoy working with new parents navigating the identity shift after having a baby.
My practice is person-centered, conversational, and warm. With an eclectic approach, I encourage self-compassion as we work together to help you identify patterns that are no longer working for you, challenge your thinking, and establish new behaviors and skills. I believe we are all trying our best. It takes great courage to examine yourself and even more extraordinary courage to share your inner thoughts and feelings with another person. I honor that and work with you to help you find your way to greater fulfillment and peace.
