Amanda Kassay is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia with over 6 years of experience. She has worked with individuals in their childhood and adolescence to late adulthood in individual and family therapy settings. Amanda partners with clients to work through and manage anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, stress, life transitions, grief, loss, and other concerns. Amanda received her master’s degree in counseling and human services from the CACREP-accredited Lindsey Wilson College, School of Professional Counseling. Amanda utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, therapeutic art techniques, and grief therapy. She has a special interest in providing grief therapy, helping guide clients through losses in life and helping them reinvest themselves in a life worth living. Amanda offers support along your journey to gain new perspectives and techniques that allow you to cope with what you may be struggling with.
