All people face difficulties in their lives that with the support of a counselor, can be managed through interventions, techniques and tools that are uniquely developed to fit you. Within therapy, a road map will be provided as a visual tool implementing the necessary action steps to reach your destination of self-understanding. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, counseling is not only Amanda’s profession, but it is her identity and lifestyle. She looks forward to sharing her expertise with you during this period of adjustment in your life. Amanda’s approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence based practice, that has been shown to assist in a wide variety of populations and diagnoses.
